Belfast Maine Movie Theatre1. Preshow Presentation Advertising: Our Preshow is shown continuously on screen as soon as the theatres open. The Preshow runs on a loop, repeating several times before the feature presentation begins. We invite you to "add your ad." Statistics show that cinema advertising is more memorable and more acted upon than other types of ads. You may submit your own creation or work with our filmmaker who is eager to assist you. Ad space is sold on a quarterly basis. The quarter of Jan-Feb-March is $240.00 . The other three quarters are $300.00 each. To sign-up please call Therese at 338-5087 or 338-3021.

The Colonial Theatre turns 100 on April 12th!

On the grand day of April 12th, 2012 The Colonial Theatre will celebrate  100 years of bring the best of film and entertainment to Belfast, Maine.  All during the year we’ll show free films from each decade, we’ll have a big gala event on April 12th and another during the summer. As caretakers of The Colonial Theatre we are proud to be able to celebrate this great year with all of you. The Colonial has had many millions of theatre goers over the years and it looks forward to many more years and visitors.
