Handicapped Access and Information

Handicapped access: We have installed a permanent ramp on our sidewalk allowing constant access to the lobby. Each of the three auditoriums has particular areas for handicapped patrons and companion seating. Due to the historic nature of the building, one of the three theatres; the Dreamland theatre is only accessible with the assistance of a staff person to escort you. The access is ramped and has no stairs. The Colonial staff is proactive and helpful and will make your entry and exit smooth. Usually this person is also the projectionist, so early arrival will behoove all.

Handicapped Restrooms: Due to the nature of our historic structure there is no space to install a handicapped restroom. All restrooms are in the lower lobby and are only accessible by stairs. Our restaurant neighbor, Darby's, allows use of their new handicapped accessible restroom.
